I have used this one for a coupe of years. We're (luckily) in a low-risk area, but I like to know when there's a risk!

Signed up a couple of weeks ago - there was a post on here previously about it. Interestingly, I checked on their charts for when we got blight last year (remember the date as it was a few days before we were due to go on hols) and there is no "Smith Period" within 10-12 days either side. So not sure how reliable it is, but any info is good when it comes to blight warnings, especially when you've got 3½ rows of susceptible Maris Piper in!!

I'd rather know when there is actually blight locally, which the blight maps show you (you also get an email telling you if you're signed up) rather than worry about the weather all the time

I've already had about 4 full smith alerts. My spuds (and everyone elses) on the plot are poor, not much foliage. Not expecting much this year!

I've had one full smiths alert it took my by surprise because I'd forgotten I'd signed up the other year.
