Some you can , earlies I think. I've just sown some more.....5 to a pot . Once they're up and running I'll plant them out. I do a wigwam with netting round and plant the peas inside it.

It's sparrows that munch mine I've got some called Celebration from T&M, and some Oskar from the Real Seed people which are good to sow late, so I'm putting some more in at the weekend.
I think the weather's been weird enough this year that it's probably not worth worrying about the exact times printed on packets.
My kelvedon wonder packet says they can be planted out till June though, and I'm planning to plant another row this weekend.
I sowed some home-grown seed 10 days ago, as part of the course I am doing.
They are already 4" high.... no idea if they'll crop...
I've been growing my peas in guttering this year and it works a treat as you dont't disturb the peas at all when you slide the peas from the guttering into the trench.
Also cut some very twiggy 1-2' branches from a tree that had fallen down and using these as "pea sticks" - works a treat as there are lots of wee twiggy bits for the peas to twine round.
Hope the pigeons/sparrow/mice don't get you crop.
If the river hasn't reached the top of your step, DON'T PANIC!
Having lost 3 ( or is it 4???) lots of sowings we're going to try one last sowing in a different place this weekend.
Yup- Kelvedon Wonder here too!
Voles/mice or pheasants we reckon got our previous lot. We'll fleece against birds but no idea about mice/voles!

You could try sprinkling crushed dried chillies round them or dipping the seeds in chilli oil ........Our Wal at the lottie resorted to the age old paraffin and red lead thing but I wouldn't fancy that .. he's one of the old school and not too bothered about organic but he's having a personal vendetta against mice this year.
