Potatoes having too much rain??????

My potatoes did has nice thick tall stalks on them but with all the rain we have had and the strong winds they have all drooped if we do eventually have a bit of sunshine will the stalks start to perk themselves up?????

It doesn't matter whether the foliage is standing up or laying down - as long as it is green it's feeding the spuds below

It only becomes a problem if the stems are actually broken. A lot of mine are
