Insect eggs on tomato plants (under glass)

The tomato plants in my greenhouse (in grow bags) seem to have seeds on / in the main stem (see attached photos) does anyone know what these might be? Have had a few white fly but these seemed to be under control. Presumably I would be well advised to treat before they hatch!

Tops of the plants also seem to be curling over rather than growing up, could this be related?

Tomatoes are actually [in the wild] a vine, and those are potential roots that, if they were in contact with the ground, would root and gain extra nourishment for the plant.

As Zazen said, they are not eggs but potential roots. The curling leaves are nothing to worry about, they will straighten themselves out. Your tomatoes look really healthy.

I have the same problem in one of my bliwaway. I notice a lot of condensation In there and some if them have the same dots. I think maybe do a bit of ventilation will help.

Tomatoes will readily root from anywhere on stem. The reason for deep planting and ring-culture. Naturally they sprawl, layering everywhere like ivy. Anywhere they are damp, damaged or rubbed they send out feelers.... often the lower stem on a cordon will show signs of rooting anyway.

In commercial hydroponic tanks they can lay the plant down in trough as they harvest each truss...a plant can be 30 metres+ long.

Mine have done this more so this year than last. Very freaky looking. Not sure if its weather related or more accidently dusting the stem with compost at some point.
