Marrow

So its clear to me now my first two marrows that rotted cant have been fertilized as the third one got bigger straight away and I'm amazed.

I was away for 3 days and its pretty much gotten marrow sized already. I had no idea they grew so fast. Its gone from baby to almost fully grown in about a week. Is this normal? Also, what is the best size to pick it at?

Edited it so could add. I picked it today, but realized I wouldn;t be able to eat it tonight , does this matter? I have puty it in the fridge. How long do they keep for?

If you want to store a marrow, you leave it until the skin goes hard. If you can put your fingernail into the skin its still soft. It will keep for several days as it is. Enjoy it, Rob
