Hello again - hope everyone is well!
It's been a bit of a wash out up here (like most places I think), but cold too, and lots of things haven't done too well!
I'm wondering if it's worth sowing another lot of things (living in hope of an Indian summer - ha!). I'm near Glasgow, and was thinking about the following:
peas (Kelvedon wonder)
beetroot (Boltardy)
chard (original lot have bolted!)
French beans (never got round to sowing them!)
leeks?
calabrese
kale
various cabbages (I have spring cabbage which I know you sow around this time anyway, but was wondering if I could sow the winter ones that you normally sow in Apr/May, or will there not be enough time for them to heart up?)
I also lost my winter squash, but think it would be pointless sowing them again as not enough time for them to grow & ripen before the frosts
What do you think - worth a punt or should I just save my seeds for next year?
Thanks!
