Hi guys I have built an experimental veg patch I have started creating for next year. What do you think of the rotation system and companion plants for it? Will it work?
Miscellaneous Crops C
1. Peas intercropped with spinach. Followed by Leeks
2. Corn intercropped with beans and marrows Followed by winter radish.
3. Shallots. Followed by winter lettuce.
Root Crops + Nightshades A
1. Potatoes intercropped with Broad Beans followed by turnips
2. Carrots inter-planted with tomatoes
3. Parsnips intercropped with tobacco
Winter and spring green crops B
1. Brussel Sprouts intercropped with early carrots and beetroots
2. Kale intercropped with garlic
3. Swiss chard intercropped with radish and sprouting broccoli
Pots and around the garden
1. Artichoke patch.
2. Asparagus patch
3. Jerusalem artichoke patch
4. Potted tomatoes
5. Potted peppers
6. Caged potatoes
7. Runner bean patch
8. Herb boxes
