  • Is there a way to limit and compact the size of brassicas?

Failing that, can anyone recommend some good compact and/or dwarf variety?

I ask this because every year they get HUGE and swamp out everything else in the bed (I grow using companion principles so have lots of things in one bed). The Less I have and more space I give them just makes them go into crazy monster mode

Hispi is a nice compact cabbage. Also if you plant them closer than the recommended spacing it should stop them getting huge.

I grow both Hispi and Minicole. Minicole also stands for ages without going over. On a normal year that is...

greyhound is a nice compact pointed cabbage as well. Having said that, if you want to grow them small, just move up here. Mine are disastrous this year.
