I was told that it wasn't worth overwintering my cayennes as they grew so easily from seed. I left them inside anyway as I had the space, and now I am glad I did. I thought I had a bunch of new chilli plants coming up in homemade compost so I never bothered to sow more packet seed, but I now know they are bell peppers as they are already forming fruit in the greenhouse. Meanwhile I've had fresh chillies for a good month indoors.:-).

All three of my overwintered pepper plants are still here and all growing baby peppers! Though one plant is definitely a lot stronger than the other two. So far I am counting 14 flowers on this one plant, and the first two baby peppers are now approximately 1.5cm big:
I've never managed to successfully grow a pepper before so I'm chuffed!Attached Files
