  • Mini Chilli Plant Or Somthing Completely Different

hi there really daft question i feel but one i dont know the answer too.

i know chilli's get there heat from capsicim within the chilli.

i was in asda the other day around the plant section, and the hay tubs maybe 3-4 inches wide, with capsicim plants inside them, colourful little spikes or red orange and a yellowy colour.

however no fact cards in the pots like i would have expected.

therfore are these chilli's or just a decorative plant with a similar name.

i've also seen what looks to be a mini citrus plant also, looks like mini yellow lemons and oranges..

I bought a Chilli Medusa last year - very decorative but not very chilli-like to eat http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...ire_61395.html
The orange like plant may have been a Winter Cherry Solanum capsicastrum – Winter Cherry with Poisonous berries!!
I'm guessing that if these plants were on sale in Asda they were being sold as ornamental houseplants, not intended for the veggie grower.

The orangey thing could be a Calamondin Care for Calamondin Orange - Dwarf Citrus Tree
I know nothing about peppers really!
