Lining raised beds with weed control fabric

If it's any help, my Dad put very expensive membrane under all his raised beds. The conifer roots came up through them, the plum tree suckers came up through them, and the Horseradish grew down through it, making it virtually impossible to dig out without making a chuffin' great mess. Save your money.

thanks G4,have got free cardboard from giant pallets now,and saved a few quid,have got my eyes on sone climbing strawberries,thanks to a lotttie friendlol,plus need new raspberry canes,every little helps,
