In relation to my last post re the leggy broad beans that I have started off indoors - is it ok to now put these outside or will any possible coming frost see them off?

I would harden them off for a week or so......put them outside for the daytime but bring them inside at night....this will aclimatise them to the colder temps.

Some one at our allotments has planted his broad beans today but I guess they will be putting fleece over if there is a frost, or are broad beans ok once they have hardened off?
