That's how I felt this morning after going out to the garden to see all four of my potato sacks with totally wilted foliage after the frost last night
I never thought to stick them in the greenhouse despite being well aware that last night was going to be a frosty one
Idiot!!!...all wasted and it had great foliage growth too...

Whoops,now you have them in green gouse,maybe,not all is lost,is it woeth an experiement,and wrap them in fleece as well,have you got something warm to stand them on,like polysyrene/insulation,

lost mine last year and nearly lost them this year , had an early frost at the start of october which just nipped a few leaves but they seem to be ok now under cover in the greenhouse

Och, just stick 'em in the greenhouse with the foliage off, the tubers will continue to bulk up. Mine certainly do - I just leave them unprotected until the frost clobbers them, then cut off the haulms and harvest at need. After all, what do you think they do growing them outdoors in the Andes ?
And if that fails and they are all really tiny - call them groundnuts !

I'd pop them in the greenhouse and see what happens. After all, when spuds get zapped in the Spring they will regrow their foliage...but yours may not now be ready in time for Xmas.

If it's discoloured or changing colour, the frost has ruptured the cells and it is merely a potential source of disease. Cut it off.
