So, 2012 for the most part a write off for most things - although my toms were okay, the cucs were okay and the runner beans - didn't run, had loads, must have been the copious amounts of liquid they received.
So now to 2013 - potatoes in particular as being Irish it's as important a crop as the odd drop of the 'falling over water'. I had a very bad year for spuds and I'm positive that, although I did get some blight, the dreaded eel worm or wire worm was an even worse invader. QUESTION - how do I tell the difference and how do I sort/reduce the problem?
