I sowed land cress for the first time this spring, and I love it and I've been eating it all summer. What I want to know is, will it survive the winter outdoors, or should I really cover it with a cloche to keep it going? It was minus three here this morning, but the plants still seem OK for now. Is it a perennial, or will it go to seed next year if it survives?

But mine's not had any flowers, so it's not going to self sow. I'll leave it be, and if it doen't survive, then next year I'll resow, and come autumn I'll dig some up and bring it indoors.
Of course, I could do that now, but I can't be arrised, it's too cold.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.
