Little advice needed

I new to all the veg growing I don't have a grass garden so I use containers however in October I decided to grow some bedfordshire onion champion in a big tub knowing winter was coming I just left them to the own I have a onion sproting it's in a small plastic green house in a big tub what's every ones experience and advice on growing in the winter I also have loads of seeds left over along with early nates carrots seeds ,corn seeds, runner bean seeds, sprot seeds, pepper seeds coil flower cabbage parsnips list can go on

Hello Jade and welcome to the Forum. Lots of us here grow in pots so you are not the only one! I would say though, that all the seeds that you list would be better sown in the spring as December is not a good time to be sowing most seeds - its too cold and the days are so short. You could start some onion sets or garlic off in pots now and also some broad beans or overwintering peas - especially if you want to eat them as pea shoots (they sell for a small fortune in the supermarket!).
Would you like to add your location to your profile as your local climate has a lot of influence on the best times to sow seeds.

Bedfordshire Champion seed is meant to be sown in March/April. If you want success, you'll need to follow the packet instructions (more or less).

If you want to plant onions over winter, you need to choose a Japanese variety
