Hello Jade and welcome to the Forum. Lots of us here grow in pots so you are not the only one! I would say though, that all the seeds that you list would be better sown in the spring as December is not a good time to be sowing most seeds - its too cold and the days are so short. You could start some onion sets or garlic off in pots now and also some broad beans or overwintering peas - especially if you want to eat them as pea shoots (they sell for a small fortune in the supermarket!).
Would you like to add your location to your profile as your local climate has a lot of influence on the best times to sow seeds.

Bedfordshire Champion seed is meant to be sown in March/April. If you want success, you'll need to follow the packet instructions (more or less).
If you want to plant onions over winter, you need to choose a Japanese varietyLast edited by Two_Sheds; 05-12-2012, 05:01 PM.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.
