Can anyone help me - my sweetcorn seeds are being eaten before they have time to even start growing no other seeds in the greenhouse have been touched. What do I do to stop what ever is doing it. thankyou Jan.
Thanks - I was hoping someone would say soak them in something or other, to stop them being to their liking. I cannot put anything down incase the grandchildren find it. jan
Put the plants in a chicken wire cage. The wire is self supporting so does not require a frame or use 2 litre plastic bottles as clotches.(Oh,and get a cat)
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!
Haven't got a cat but the resident Kestrel keeps mickey at bay, he takes up residency at the bottom of the garden. Sorry about quality was taken through my office window.
Yes, I would love a cat, but my husband wouldn't. But the kestrel, if only..... then I would be sitting, just watching. So the mice would stay away from my seeds because they would be afraid to come out because of me being there. Thanks for the help. I am going to try the chicken wire. Jan.
