Has anyone got any tips on how to make vermiculite finer for finer seeds?

I wouldn't have thought you need to Mark as it is so light, the seeds will find there way through but you could use a coffee grinder or similar........maybe a peppercorn grinder.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

There is usually stuff at the bottom of the pack, but as BM says, it's not really needed as once they germinate they poke through.

Put some in a plastic bag and flatten it with a rolling pin/empty bottle - as you do with bread crumbs?Comment
