My first lot that germinated are still in their pots but have had to be moved to the conservatory under a plastic cover with ventilation by day and an extra layer of fleece at nightLast edited by binley100; 10-01-2013, 10:26 PM.S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

i usually sow in March too, but today I've sowed 4 Red Alert and 2 seeds from the T&M mixed freebie, http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...bie_69360.html
so I can compare with March sown ones.
Thought there might be some way to group the freebies either by slight colour difference, or shape or size, but no, they all look the same, so it's pot luck which two I've sown.Location - Leicestershire - Chisit-land
Endless wonder.

I planted some plum tomatoes yesterday as they seem to take so much longer. I planted San Marzano and also a large random shaped one that again seemed to be slower last year - marmalade.
They are in my new heated propagator with my chilli and pepper seeds which is in my greenhouse. I will sow my other tomato varieties in a couple of weeks.Last edited by Likac66; 13-01-2013, 08:35 AM.Likac66

*naysayers saying they will wait to sow is great, but start your own thread please - this is for those who want to get a few plants started off early. Thank you.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”

Damn it twice... Lost one of each of my previously geminated Black Russian and Jubilee...my fault, lack of TLC..
Resowed a few of each today..I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
...utterly nutterly
