Whats your favourite 1st early, 2nd early, maincrop, and where do you get the seed potatoes from?
Are you sticking with suppliers you have used before or trying someone different this year?

1st early... Pentland Javelin. Lovely boiled and smothered in butter. Also makes fantastic mash.
2nd early.. Kestrel. Fantastic all rounder. Roast, chips, baked or boiled. Stores well too.
Main........ No longer grow a main crop. I tend to dig what I need as I need it. Until mid to late September, then dig up all. The Kestrel product a heavy crop, with some massive spuds.

For the last two years I have ordered from JBA, No real reason as to why. They have delived what was ordered at a the time requested, so could start chitting straight away.
