Best time to buy seeds I find is Sept/Oct when a certain big garden centre chain drop their packs to 50p each (so got this year's Carmen cucs for 50p instead of £4.99).
    I love the 50p a pack scramble!

I've ordered some seeds from here too:

Reasonable prices, free P&P (no matter what the order size), basic packaging and emailed growing instructions, very quick delivery...

... now will have to see how the gherkins do!

I get quite a lot of my off the cuff seed packets from the allotment shop. I think some seed companies do seeds at discount prices. Our shop is stocked with DT Brown packets, and most are under a pound.

I need quite a lot of new seeds this year and was surprised at how expensive they were. Feels like they might have increased in price quite a lot?

Premier seeds on eBay got my money this year also. Absolute bargain compared to anywhere else.

I'm also a Premier Seeds on ebay convert! More or less everything 99p and postage rates very cheap to.
The seeds amounts are generous and they have germinated very well for me.

I started using Colin from Seekay Horticultural when I found him on Ebay.
He also has his own web site - cheap and reliable seeds many with free P&P

I use him too, cheap seeds and they all seem reliable up to now.

Like Flo I use Moreveg, simply like the smaller amounts that they supply. Don't need or want several hundred of something. Means I don't waste the majority and can grow a few of several types of such things as toms, peppers and leeks for example.
