We just made it into July BB - thanks to Canny Grower

I do seem to have kick-started everyone into posting. I do enjoy seeing the changes from month to month ... I forget how much has changed on my own plot until I look back. Many thanks to Bigmally for starting it all off.

View 22nd August - with GH as predicted and minus the loganberry, grapevine and most of the redcurrant that had flopped over the little wall in the foreground, smothering a rosemary and lavender bush. I'm still working on clearing that lot. Hope that by next month it will sorted and there will be raised beds around the GH

Sorry, I know this is the first week of September but I've just got back from holiday. The allotment is looking a bit wild and overgrown but my very good allotment neighbour has kept the greenhouse crops watered and fed in my absence. In a week or two order will be restored.

Err...September

Well, I've done it again - here we are in October and I haven't posted September photos. The new month just creeps up on me somehow.



The legumes are gone and the bed composted. There's a fine crop of phacelia where the potatoes were and nothing but parsnips left in the roots section. I've been doing some reorganising at the gate end, trying not to upset the winter squash as I go.

Well, for once I've made it before the end of the month.
There's not much new to see: a bit of autumn colour in the garden, the asparagus bed cleared and covered with compost, greeenhouses emptied and a bit of tidying up done.
