Would The Vine Benefit?

I know it would be a mammoth task for the Veggie section to be categorised by individual veggies but wondered if it would be beneficial for both old & new grapes plus lurkers if we had sections by families..........just one of my many daft thoughts

It's already quite a task; who is going to respond to all the threads says 'shouldn't that spring onion thread be in the allium section?' and then spend time moving threads from one board to another?

In theory it would be great. In practice, there are 15,000 threads in Vegging Out and many of them are about many types of veg in one thread. C'est impossible I think.

TBH,because of the way that threads seldom if ever stay on a single topic I would be a virtual impossibility bud

I agree with the comments above that quite often the threads change or are about multiple types of veg.

Perhaps it could be my inability to use the search function properly, but I always find it difficult to do a search that just returns results about particular types of veg. Maybe if anybody had some spare time (which I appreciate the mods are busy and don't), then would it be possible to improve the search function. Though I've not even got a clue about whether that would be technically possible or not.
