Likewise, I start off with good intentions of using planners which frankly I have too many. Like MH, I just put my seeds in monthly order & just move them along if need be.

I've bought a stupid amount of seeds and I def need a planner but I started one and got bored 1/3 through....

Hopefully if I just check through the seeds once a week or so I will keep on top of it. Annoyingly a load of seeds I bought from that seller on ebay came with no sowing instructions! Not cool for a newb liek me!

Thanks Samurailord, I have downloaded it and will find it really useful.
It's the sow indoors bit that makes it work for me.
          Cheers.

            Hi John

Yes, that was exactly why I created it for myself - all the other planners seem to be leaning more towards everything being sown straigh out into the ground.

I have eventually come up with my very own Gardening Calendar created in Excel

              https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bzlq...it?usp=sharing

This shows which seeds can be planted each month, either indoors, outdoors or outdoors under cover, and also shows when indoor planted seeds can be planted out.

You need to scroll down to page 3 on the uploaded file to see the calendar itself. (the coloured pages) or just download it.

I would appreciate any comments that you may have, good or bad.

Now that the growing season is creeping closer I've come back to look at this and it's great! My chillies were started much earlier in the heated prop but I'll be putting them undercover for a bit.

The internet is indeed chock full of info but I'm afraid for me it's often conflicting and confusing and it takes aaaages to trawl through.

I think next season will be easier. Wish I hadnt bought so many seeds.

I have a diary that I buy each year and look through my seeds and write in when to plant/harvest with feeding instructions/reminders etc. Its a week to view diary and every time i do something i jot it down so I can remember
