staking garlic

IF you do end up staking them remember to leave plenty of room for bulb growth,mine were set 4" away at the bottom but at an angle towards the plant

I cut the tops of the leaves and eat them

I've no idea whether this has any effect on their growth but it has a beneficial effect on my food

Looks really healthy to me, you shouldn't need to put any stakes in.
