    • Pennard also sell many of the "Wong" seeds. I bought dahlias, canna and eucalyptus from them. They sell Melothria too = 35 seeds for £1.50 Seeds, Eclectic Victorian Vegetable Seed from Pennard Plants

Good tip VC and the great thing is that you know RS or their supplier will have been growing them in normal gardening conditions and they will come with a label that gives advice on how to get the best from them as well as seed saving instructions.

        • Hmmm I bought (in my many packets of failing James Wong seeds) 2 packets of inca berries (Pysalis) - probably spelled wrong! But out of the 2 packets sown I have 3, that's 3 sprouts! That's in 6 weeks So I am really not impressed at all. I sowed all of them as we love them and I wanted to be inundated with the lovely little things, but alas, no

          • Is it these?, Ancee?

If so, you can have lots more goes @ 89p/packet. You probably won't get fruit this year but you can over winter the plants in the tunnel or similar as they die right down and then come up again in Spring.

                • A couple of my asparagus peas have finally germinated! So all my seeds have in fact germinated but half the speed as similar plants from other brands.
