The ones on the right had been on a darker, cooler windowsill. (min of 10c)
The sunny ones had been doing better: stronger, less leggy, as you'd expect.
Then I put them all into the unheated greenhouse overnight. (min of 3c)
The ones on the left, the ones which were used to a warmer temperature, have collapsed. The foliage is now very very floppy, weak, lifeless.
What I've shown myself is the effect of not properly hardening things off, even if the gh is frost- and wind-free, it still gives cosseted (hardy) plants a shock.All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.
