I will go out shortly with a trowel and video camera. It grew potatoes last year with some grass cutting layer under them .. but it's not completely dry even though it's not rained for a bit.

So I need to take out camera, trowel, ph meter .. what else?

My dads garden is like a bog and he always gets the best leeks, cabbages, kales, sprout, swedes, sweetcorn and runner beans
