Ashamed to say, I only sowed my lettuce this week. Completely overlooked it due to trying to get my early potatoes in the ground while the weather was dry and getting carried away with tomato and chilli sowing.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

oh i am very lucky, winter especially is my months for growing salad leaves and i can't get enough, i sow a whole packet 500-1000 seeds every 6 weeks along with spinach, rocket and all sorts of others bits, always loads of mouths they can go to.
waiting for a MRF offer days where i can pick up some more packets for a pound each.
I have lots i am trying to save seeds from. i will take a photo its a bit of a jungleI grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them
