  • live salad for cutting

from my local morrisons, little tray of fresh growing salad for a pound, take it home and snip off enough leaves for about two sarnis
OR untangle the roots an plant out about 70 mixed lettuce plants under cloches like I did last year and have enough to give away.
don't be afraid to innovate and try new things
remember.........only the dead fish go with the flow

I've always used the cheap, 48p, lettuce mix (avg 1300 seed) from B&Q.
I've heard of people doing this when they don't have time to grow from seed, never tried it myself as it always seems expensive and you miss the joy of watching the shoots spring from the seeds.
