I'm in Derby, well just on the outskirts. Snow really thick here. I drove down to Lichfield today. The snow seemed less around Burton area but then pretty heavy again around Lichfield. I work in Heanor and the weather is usually worse there as well as it's further north.

Not even had a day of Spring yet over here. If we could guarantee a couple of hot months then I really wouldn't mind winter dragging on like this

The last time we had a March this cold was 1962.

The whole year apparently ended up being cold, with only a little sunshine in April and again in Sept, with a severe winter following it

I knew we could rely on our little ray of sunshine to provide some optimism for today

We've had brilliant sunshine whilst it was snowing today.
At the moment it's just a blizzard though.

The good news is the sun was out. The bad news - that was summer
