we havent seen any up here,they would have problems taking off covered in the now summer ice,planes cant fly with ice on their wings,so i presume that also applies to butterflies as well,or are these tougher than we thought,might have to patrol plot with a baseball bat and shin pads..

It's our local Gardeners' Association Spring Show tonight: specialist daffs and tulips, ha! Not from me it isn't, haven't seen a tulip yet, will scout around for some sorry daffs. I usually see better ones than mine in gardens when walking up to the show and wonder if I might do a swop?
Bought some Limnanthes seed yesterday, hope Cabbage Whites like "Poached Egg Spanish Omelette Mixed" - should do, has an RHS "Perfect for Pollinators" award, whatever next? Awful names, will I need to put out Tomato Ketchup and Daddies?.
