Last year I grew some Swiss Chard in my greenhouse, and some on my veggie plot. As we had a really crazy summer, funnily the Chard in the greenhouse did seem to do better. It slowed down over winter. The greenhouse is unheated. Yet there is still growth with healthy leaves about 4-5 inches, although I haven't tried to pick and cook any for quite a while I read somwhere that it can go bitter the following year.
