I have never measured my plot Really should get around to that.
Ours are "full" or "third" plots, though if a full plot meets any sort of standard size I've no idea."Live like a peasant, eat like a king..."

I'm also on Alldigging's allotment and have the dubious honour of having the largest plot at 214.4 sq metres.
As I only got the plot in the middle of last year I just got in what I could, mostly brassicas but also some toms, chillis, lettuce, pak choi, courgettes, turnips, raddish, french beans, spinach, beetroot, potatoes, rhubarb and peas.
Not many of each, but enough to make me feel like a proper gardener at last
This year I have much more of the plot available to use now that the drainage problems seem to have been sorted, so there will be plenty of soft fruits and herbs as well.

On our site the plots are now 5 rods (30ftx45ft) they used to be 10 (60x90).
I have 10 in total.
I got 2 rods of potato, 2 rods of sweetcorn, 2 rods of soft fruit and the rest is split between the usual suspects like peas, beans, brassicas, beetroot, leaf veg etc.Last edited by Jamesy_uk; 17-04-2013, 10:38 AM.

What is this gobbledigook about poles and rods? Never come across that, before!
Think mine is about 15ft by 15ft, about 1/2 full with spuds, strawberry patch and onions, plus a few left over parsnips! Lots more to go in.
Greenhouse is separate and is 8 x 6 ft. Desginated tomatoes and cukes, along with a large blowaway. FIL has much larger plot. At least 30 ft x 50 ft.

I think 250 square metres or 10 rods/poles are classed as full size plots?
Our site rent is for 31 X 250 sq metres wheras we have 39 plot holders so our plots are roughly 3/4 size. I have two plots which equates to 1.5 full size plots! My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
