radish flat on ground!

I checked my radish this morning. They are approx 2 inches high.

Most of them are nice and upright, but a few of them were laying flat in the compost.

Any thoughts?

Need more water maybe?

By "in the compost" I presume you mean you are growing them in pots. Could be lack of water, or it could be damping off.

My first tub of radish did the same the other day, lack of water was the problem. Since the snow we have had no rain what so ever and this cruel wind has a terrible drying effect.

I believe I know what the problem is.

The planter is very heavy, compared to my other planter alongside.

THerefore I believe the water is not draining!

I will drill some holes in there tonight, and hopefully all will be ok....
