Seems I may have lost them all

Think I have lost all of my early toms, chillies and peppers it's almost soul destroying

How come? Frost or wind damage?

Most of mine haven't even germinated, I haven't been able to get to the greenhouse to check on them for a couple of weeks, and when I did check, there wasn't any movement at all. I think they've rotted....

I'm not really sure I have them inside I can't be sure if I have over watered or something my chillies all look as if the leaves are dry and curling upwards and my toms are drying at the end of leaves and drooping I have reported with fresh compost and now have bought some Epsom salts but a few are proper dead think it my be too cold at night I'm really not sure never had this happen before

I also have. Moved some from the grow lights to increase air flow there are some on the living room window some on my daughters window some on my sons window all on the same side of the house the ones in my daughters room are perfectly healthy but the others sem to slowly be curling

What were the roots like when you re-potted?

Surprisingly healthy I have grown toms and chillies even peppers before and have done nothing different I have a few plants inbetween the suffering plants that are thriving so I'm sure it's not overwatering as I'm watering lightly with a spray bottle.

I have just binned a scotch bonnet that was flying and then the leaves just drooped and dead but the rootball was big and healthy I'm at a loss unless it has caught a chill and it's not just the top end of the hot peppers but my cayenne is suffering massively

Do not, never ever, water with a spray bottle, specially if they are under lights or on a sunny windowsill.

Water by standing the pots in a tray filled with water and allow the plants to take up what they need.

Are they scorching after you've sprayed them?

No no VC I only spray the soil and I water the tray every Sunday I only spray the ones under the lights as they dry up quite quick

i treat mine like the children i never had and to lose 1 is traumatic
as its late in the season now maybe consider some plug plants
literally as i was typing this i had some from Potters Plants arrive but Matt Simpson Chilli Pepper Plants has some very reasonably priced plugs available

If they are by a window it's just as cold there at night as it is outside. Don't forget this year has been unseasonably cold.

I've had trouble before keeping chilli (and other) seedlings properly watered, so this year I'm trying capillary matting in watering trays - these - and so far it's working well. Chillies are just sprouting their first true leaves.

They're in an east window and I've had them under propagator lids until recently (old sash windows = rather draughty).
