  • hows everyones chilli plants?

    AS title suggests!

Mine seem to be growing pretty slowly compared to last year.

THe numex twilights are certainly growing the slowest.

My habaneros are looking pretty good. I pulled a load of early flower buds off them several weeks ago. But have since just left them, and they have lots of buds on them.

Seems a bit early to me! But I am just going to leave them.

Cayennes are around 3 inches tall (after being repotted deeply into 3 inch pots).

They are all in the conservatory which gets light, but hardly any sun. I want them in the g/h!

I would put them in the g/h before work. But at 6:45am it is still very cold outside, and I am still half asleep then!

Hungarian hot wax do not seem to be growing at all!!!!

    Hows everyone elses chillies doing????

My vampire chillis are tiny! They have been moved on into bigger pots and fed but don't seem to have grown. Stuck at 2"

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

I'm late, just planted mine, cannot find the third variety, and no idea what they are.
      Going to be interesting.

Slow but healthy looking. Chilli Grower, I would put your chillies in the greenhouse before you leave for work. Might be chilly to start with, but soon warms up in the sun.

I have chilli envy. Most of mine are just starting on their first true leaves.

My first batch are going great guns, and all need to be potted up into 5" pots now. 2nd batch are catching them up and ready to go into 3" pots. 3rd batch, sown by the kids at school, are at 2 pairs of true leaves. Just waiting for payday to get some more compost

Most of mine still only have two leaves after being pricked out. They are looking quite healthy, but just don't want to get cracking.
