hows everyones chilli plants?

  • I am so impressed with mine are it is so far ahead of the others7 chillies as long as my finger whilst the rest have nothing, basically just flowers.
    I think it being in the sunniest spot help in that.

            • Finally got round to making my chilli jam!

              So far it looks like it's going to set... I'm so excited! It's the prettiest preserve type thing I've made!

                  They're mainly 'Facing Heaven' from a plant I overwintered last year but I did manage to include a couple of cayenne from a plant I started early this year!

                    • My chilies were rather rubbish this year and I couldn't work out why. Then I saw my Labrador cocking this leg up them. Next year I'll put them out of piddle range.
                      Hey farmer farmer put away the D.D.T. Now give me spots on my apples but leave me the birds and the bees please!

                          Perhaps he thought you were neglecting watering them and he thought he would give you a helping hand

                          His piddle is full of good stuff, natural fertiliser, the liquid fertiliser costing you £10 a litre at the garden centre is probably just bottled dog piddle

                          • Mine still doing well but paid an after dark visit to the greenhouse this evening and found some with those grey/black caterpillars... Squashed any I found and threw them in salty bucket..

                              • now have over 200 chillis on one basket of fire chilli plant,numex twilight very slow though just set its first chilli.
                                don't be afraid to innovate and try new things
                                remember.........only the dead fish go with the flow
