Very tiny but quite strong - I have them in my unheated greenhouse/aviary.

              Been there, done that!!

All my 2013 sown ones are healthy looking but some are quite small still and they may well be the ones I try to overwinter this year....
I wonder if you selected a few of the smaller ones and didn't feed as much and generally ignored, would they be less productive this year and be ready for strong take-off next year
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

No germination at all of mine so far. Wonder if it's the weather, bad seeds, bad compost, or bad luck!

Not one of my chillis survived overwintering this year, though 50% did last year. I'm pretty sure they can survive more than one overwintering, so maybe the weather was just too bad this year...?

Ah, I "found" a chilli plant near my compost heap that I'd abandoned in its pot last September. No label, small but otherwise very healthy. It's not the biggest I've over wintered, but it has just started to flower...

lots of chillis on the market which are crosses...the latest "must have" chilli is the Jays Ghost Scorpion Peach which is a cross of the Butch T Scorp and the Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper)
i will be having a go at this this year, i'm growing about 350 odd plants this year and will be isolating at least 1 of each variety for seed for myself and cross poll trials....

here's some of mine as of this morning
the ones on the floor are in builders buckets
still have some under light inside and most of these will be off to the polytunnel...fingers crossed this week
have been removing flowers and pinching out trying to get maximum yeild from these this year

I love ur green house so much space. I am so tired of putting tray out then back in and out again. My chilli seeds all germinated but not growing very fast. Planted in march and this is how they look.

My chillis seem to be a lot slower than the years i've grown them before, comforting to read that i'm not alone. Looking forward to some decent sun to really get them going!

My over wintered orange hab is setting fruit well now. Over a dozen on it already.
