Well that's handy, I now know what the 4 plants I've put in the greenhouse bed are. I remember starting some seeds back in Feb, but couldn't remember whether they were chillis or sweet bell peppers.

      Top banana.

Now I just need to know what the two in the corner are....
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Ah, I "found" a chilli plant near my compost heap that I'd abandoned in its pot last September. No label, small but otherwise very healthy. It's not the biggest I've over wintered, but it has just started to flower...
Might give the old "mean treatment" a go so....!!

nearly, i started a chilli sauce, chilli jam and chutney part time business last Sept with my wife.
This year i have rampted up the growing hoping to grow all the chilli i need for a years worth of trading

my hot wax are doing terrible. Just like last year actually. Jalapeno's are also very slow.

By far the quickest growing have been the 'mexican hot' cayenne variety.

My chilli's have been going great guns over the last few days, they were doing very little before but all of a sudden have decided to head for the sky! The Jals especially. No sign of flowers still though, boo!

Hi there, this is my first year growing chillies and I have so many plants its ridiculous. I didn't think they would do well at all. I've tried something a bit different and have them sitting in a bath of water in which they have absolutely thrived. I have grown

                    Scotch bonnets
                    Prairie fire
                    Big jims
                    Chilly chillies
                    Bhut jalokia
                    Habenaros

Here are pics on how they are doing
