hows everyones chilli plants?

my Apache Chili has signs of mite/aphids on it. Leaves feel sticky to touch.

My Scotch Bonnet is literally covered with the same. (I've put plant by some Marigold flowers)

Any advice on how I could remove them would be most helpful. Thanks

Spray the leaves with your hose each day will remove a lot or spray with a aphid control whichever other than that you can use a weak washing up liquid mixed with water

Wapwap79, nice looking plants you have there. I'm impressed with the huge leaves on your bhut jolokia. Are you feeding it, and if so what with?

Heaving purple rainbow chilli.

Wendy house is heaving with all my bells and chillies. Think a few of them might be getting a bit burned in the sun; need to kiss those bits better. Most of them are foliage and flowering. A few of them are fruiting. Have been watering and feeding regularly.

Mine have gone mad this week...Numex Twilight has about 80 chillies on it and they have now turned blue,.pulled one off and ate it whole and that was hotter than expected...lol
Moruga,Ghost,Esplendor,Paprika,Peter,Habanero,Patio fire,Thai Hybrid are all in flower and i can see the little chillies inside the flower so should be good next Month.
Apache had flowers but they have died off now and small green chillies have appeared...
sweet bell peppers are a bit smaller than a tennis ball..

Dragons egg cucumber plants are about 3 ft tall and flowering well so are the charentais melons :-)

Not doing too bad for my first growing season.

Wondering how big the purple rainbows have to be before harvesting. Are like little purple berries at the moment.

I have not grown them before, maybe just pick one and try it? I am growing a fairy light plant. Most of them are purple, but they taste raw. Much better when they are orange or red....

Probably not. Down to two plants of six, none have flowered, so might not pollinate. It's a bit too cold here generally and temperatures have been too variable.

I have taken a couple of pics of some of my chillis and my once poorly scotch bonnet plant.





Overall, my Scotch bonnet is the one i am most proud of since it was brought back from the brink after some advice from this site.
