              That's it, I give in, I'm going to make a crumble with a few stems at weekend. Ill pick the longest ones, or do you have to pick the outer ones? I have never picked rhubarb.

                      Thank you Chcken. I was enjoying watching all those tube clips when I lost connection. Was trying to get back online for ages and suddenly realised that Merlin had clicked something on my laptop and switched all connections OFF...... bad kitty!
                      I'm going to grab some Rhubarb off the plant later and cook it tonight and EAT it..... Yes!!!
                      That will be the second thing I have eaten. I had a handful of salad leaves the other evening.

                        I am just starting with rhubarb this year so bit of a novice. I know you're supposed to remove the flower asap when they appear, however not sure what they look like, does anyone have a piccy?

                            One on allotment had 4 too!

                            Have pulled them off. Not done one in garden yet though.

                              Our rhubarb was planted early last year and we didn't touch it at all to get it settled in so if i am right we can harvest it this year?
