One small, horrible little slug

Has done so much damage in my poly tunnel I've searched everywhere and can only find one little "&!!^*%$£!! He's eaten all of my electric daisies and had a nibble at a load of other stuff, but the electric daisies must've been his favourite as he ate them all! I'm so sad, they were one of the only things I bought from James Wong Suttons that actually worked! If anyone has any spare seeds they'd be gratefully received...

Can't help you with seeds I'm afraid, but wanted to offer commiserations. We've all been there, and it's horrid

Get the beer traps down. They seem to be attracted to beer just as much as plants.

How about nematodes? In a small, relatively confined space they work well - and you don't have to trudge around with a bucket of salty water every evening!

Horrible little slimy b***ers arent they? I lost a courgette seedling to one the other day which wouldnt have been so annoying if it hadnt been in a propagator on my bathroom windowsill!
Either it came in on the pots or compost when it was teeny, tiny or (as Ive long suspected) slugs have the ability to teleport...

Last year i eventually found where some were hiding,under the rims of seed trays,they make themselves very thin,and that was on top shelf,above the greenhouse bench,the only thing that stopped them was sweeties,i hate using them,but am not feeding the things,

i am afraid i have reverted back to slug pellets, the birds can't get them because my plants are all in a fruit cage, i hate collecting the little slimely blighters.

Slugs can get everywhere.

I once found one in the kitchen cupboard, hiding behind the blades of my hand blender. The blender I was just about to stick in my chunky vegetable soup...

I didn't like slugs much before that.
