Copper slug tape

    I tried copper tape around my tomato pots last year. Still found heaps of slugs in them and it didn;t deter the snails.
    It also came off by the end of the season so I wouldn't consider it a long term investment.
    I'm another one for nematodes, ferric phosphate pellets and salting the b*****s.

      They'll have to be old ones, the current ones are steel and even before that they haven't had much copper in them for ages. Too expensive!

        Well, I didn't know that coppers are made of steel You can't trust anything these days
