Having spent a year and a half working every daylight hour of a week, and having neglected the garden in a major style, I've got myself a new job that means I am now working a lot of evenings - freeing up daytime hours to get back in the garden.
I've spent a little time weeding the raised beds and want to put some bits in them but not sure what isn't too late. Ideally I'd like to grow some tomatoes, cucumbers etc - are these too late? Also have an empty small greenhouse that I could use. Is it too late for potatoes also?
We don't eat a vastly varied veggie diet, I've always failed to save brassicas etc from whitefly and cabbage white larvae etc so don't really want to waste the time and space on them. Tomatoes, onions, potatoes, cucumbers etc is where I'm aiming, could of course go and buy ready grown plants to grow on but would prefer to sow from seed.
Hoping someone can advise whether I've missed the chance this year Thanks in advance!
