Yellow broad beans...help

Hi i grew some broad bean in moduals, planted them off after Harding off bout a month ago. I watered well when planted and again bout two weeks ago. The leaves have all gone very yellow and there is one that i think has given up the go.

Ive giving them a through soaking today just before it got dark and will do so again tomorrow evening as i thought it was maybe me not watering hem enough.

Anyone else had this and any ideas what ive done to them and how to make them look better.

Ooh also they have barely grown only 4" tall but very bushy.

We haven't had rain for nearly 2 months have we? I've just up the coast from you, and my broadies are still only 4" tall, they're just sitting there.
They'd normally be in full flower and knee height by now

Might be the wind - mine went yellow and stunted after some strong cold winds, but with plenty of watering, they seem to be recovering - the new growth on them is the proper colour, and some are starting to produce flowers. I don't know if they'll come to much though, they're only 6" tall. New ones that i sprouted in loo rolls and planted out in the last couple of weeks look much better.

I agree with TS - it's a funny old year again. Some strange patterns emerging already. I would normally be seeing setting beans on my o/w allotment ones, but not this year. Mercifully I have some polytunnel ones.

I doubt it's wind damage- I'd suggest either lack of nutrients or perhaps water if you haven't been watering them.

Cheers guys, im now watering them every other evening to see if things change.

Likewise for me..
Broad beans sown early last November are still very small compared to last year's crop..I was harvesting them in June last year and while I know a month is a long time, I wouldn't think they will be ready in June this year...
