Hi just wondering my toms have been out for a week and a bit during the day, the min temp tonight is 8 degc do you think they'd be ok if I left them in the cold frame?
Also I always keep them outside I've only been at it a couple of years but just an idea does anyone protect the top of the pots from bad rain so the soil doesn't get soaked when we hit a bad spell like all of last year!

Hi spunky I should imagine you've had your last frost now, and if your min night temps are 8C then your toms should be fine outside in your cold frame. Also they should be fine if you have any downpours providing that you have given them plenty of drainage!

I've been getting overnight lows of 8 or 9C in the greenhouse, but I'm still bringing mine indoors every night - perhaps I'm just too paranoid about losing them after all my hard work..................
