I forgot to sew celeriac too, even though I have the seeds for almost a month and I kept saying I was going to sew them but never did, wonder is it too late? /:

Mine are looking rubbish. Germinated pretty well back in Feb sometime, but are still moving along at a snails pace. 2inches high and poor leaves. I planted a few in March as a kind of back up, but they're even worse.

I'd convinced myself that this was the year of the aubergine, but alas it isn't looking that way now.

Try repotting them into fresh compost if they've been sat in the same pots for a while...

Yes, I think so. Every year I've tried them they grow no bigger than tennis balls...

Mine are doing nicely, fine big leaves and some flower buds forming. Pity they're stuck on the window sill. Bladdy Azores high is just below us

Mine look a bit like the ones in Binley's photo, but haven't grow so much as a millimetre since I put them in the polytunnel bed what feels like weeks ago... It's just not warming up, is it?

I have flowers on mine, can't remember the type, but I started them off early, and under lights.

It could be getting towards that time... Nice aubergines, by the way!

my aubs are finally, finally starting to out on some growth!! they did take their time though but they should be ready for potting on in about a week if they continue like this!

I've managed to produce an aubergine in the veg patch! Well I say *I* have, y'know, the plant has. It's not perfect - you can see the marks on it in the photo, but it's the first time I've succeeded. I tried once before when we lived somewhere with a polytunnel but I had no joy at all, not a sniff of an aubergine. This year the plant - one I picked up as a weeny seedling at a church fete or somewhere - has had a tea bag mulch and been watered when I watered other things, but it's had no special attention. The glorious sunshine this year must have done the job. There are two more flowers and another tiny fruit but I think hoping for more would just be pushing my luck!

Hmm, can't post photos this afternoon >
Is there anything that isn't made better by half an hour pottering in the veg patch?

Looking forward to the photo of it please.
Mine has produced a flower in the polytunnel, that's a progress for me
