how are you shading the g/h?
As the 2 net curtains I am using, are doing an excellent job of diffusing the sun.
Maybe you could do the same?
However, as previously mentioned I have lost a lot of flowers. But I am not worried about that too much...As it is still early in the season.
Also, if you ever come into CArdiff, you are more than welcome to take a look....Last edited by chilli_grower; 05-06-2013, 09:28 PM.

Scarlet, your orange habanero looks stunning! Nice one.
Wendie, your best bet for chilli seed variety are online suppliers. I use chileseeds.co.uk, and nickys-nursery.co.uk, for 90% of my selections. Garden centres generally only carry a limited range, and those are usually ones that are well known / easy to grow.

May be I am biased. But my home made, hand reared babies, look so much better than the creatures that I have observed in shops and garden centres.
Have these purple tinged things, that I am convinced are hot patio sizzle. So tiny, wiry little things, with lots of little floo'er buds. Dying to see what they turn out like. Strongest by a good yard, are the purple beauty and spanish mammoth pepper. In the wendy, the strongrest are the ones that Aunty VVG gave me; frauzauber, lipstick and lemon drop.

See, mine's not green. It's purple! So it might not be patio sizzle. I have it some where, in one of the many pots. So I will keep a look out for that one, Darcy.
I really want to know what these purple things are. They are lovely, don't get me wrong. I just didn't label them, and want to know which one of the many sown they are.
Found it! Purple Rainbow Chilli.Last edited by horticultural_hobbit; 07-06-2013, 02:46 PM.
