So on my very recently aquired allotment there are some plants growing that seem different to and less frequent than most of the weeds, I think they could be lettuces or some other type of veg but they don't look like anything I have experience of growing before. I have random potatoes and leeks and fennel appearing so they could well be something that was meant to be there (previous plot holder moved away rather than the plot being taken back after getting overgrown).

One on the right could be fat hen. Its a weed by I use it like spinach. If it was fat hen, there would likely be more than one plant.http://togrowahome.wordpress.com/ making a house a home and a garden home grown.

Actually I think the smaller plant on the left of the righthand picture is fat hen. Has greyish bits near stems, slightly fuzzy apperance.http://togrowahome.wordpress.com/ making a house a home and a garden home grown.

Agree with VC on the second one, defo looks like GKH. First one looks like something I had in the garden of my old house when I thought it was a good idea to have some wildflowers. It had an orange dandelion-like flower which chucked seeds everywhere, so get rid before it flowers. Are y'oroight booy?
